NITAAC Website Notice - Status of potential successor contract to the CIO-SP2i and IW2nd GWACs

Last Updated on: 11/05/2009
On November 4, 2009, NITAAC posted a consolidated response to the Questions and Answers received under the draft Request for Proposal in the Federal Business Opportunities announcement.

The National Institutes of Health (NIH) Information Technology Acquisition and Assessment Center (NITAAC) is pleased to announce that on August 4, 2009, a sources sought announcement and draft Request for Proposal (RFP) were posted in Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) for its potential future Chief Information Officer - Solutions and Partners 3 (CIO-SP3) Government-Wide Acquisition Contract (GWAC) under CIO-SP3 Draft RFP.
NITAAC intends to solicit a second GWAC that will be set-aside for small business with essentially the same scope as in CIO-SP3. A separate Sources Sought announcement will be issued for the CIO-SP3 Small Business GWAC, but NITAAC does not intend to issue a draft RFP for that GWAC. Instead, NITAAC will consider the feedback received under the draft CIO-SP3 RFP in developing both the future CIO-SP3 and CIO-SP3 Small Business GWACs. CIO-SP3 and CIO-SP3 Small Business will be a successor GWACs to the current CIO-SP2i GWAC and Image World 2 New Dimensions (IW2nd) GWAC, that are both expiring in December 2010.
Please refer to the FedBizOpps announcement for further information including instructions on how to express interest. As explained in the announcement, contractors and government customers wishing to comment or ask any questions will be required to register in https://acqutrak.noblis.org/CIO-SP3DraftRFPFeedback and follow the instructions contained therein for submitting questions and/or comments. Questions or comments submitted by means other than through the aforementioned website will not be considered. Also, as noted in the announcement, because this is a draft RFP, proposals are not solicited at this time.
NITAAC appreciates any feedback provided and any interest expressed under the future GWAC.
