The Office of Management and Budget (OMB) and National Institutes of Health IT Acquisition and Assessment Center (NITAAC) invite YOU to participate in the Inaugural BIC Fair on Thursday, July 11, 2019.
This free event will run from 10:00 am through 2:30 pm., and attendees can earn two CLPs (CLP pre-registration in FAITAS required).
What is Best-in-Class (or BIC)?
BIC is an acquisition designation for contracts that satisfy key criteria defined by OMB guidance and that are available for government-wide use. BIC contracts are pre-vetted, well managed solutions that meet defined criteria for management maturity and data sharing. All 10 of the government-wide category teams have worked to identify and designate BIC solutions to reduce the amount of effort for agencies in purchasing common goods and services, and there are nearly 40 BIC solutions available.
What is the BIC Fair?
Category Management policy, M-19-13, provides agencies with flexibility on deciding what Best-in-Class (BIC) solutions can be used to meet agency targets.The BIC Fair will give BIC Contract Solutions exhibitors the opportunity to showcase their expertise and offerings with federal contracting officers and specialists.
Who should attend?
All BIC solution contract owners and all federal acquisition professionals are encouraged to attend. This event is not open to contract holders.

The BIC Fair will be open on Thursday, July 11, 2019, 10 a.m. - 2:30 p.m., and there is no cost to attend.
