Tradeshow: Nuclear Regulatory Commission Cyber Security Seminar and Expo
NITAAC will be exhibiting at this event.
Event overview:
Held at the NRC headquarters and hosted by the Office of the Chief Information Officer, this event attracts their IT and cyber personnel, as well as their contractors. Internally, NRC promotes the event as "HACK," which stands for "Helpful Applied Cyber Knowledge." Their well-received campaign encourages all NRC technology users to be aware of the impact of their activities on connected devices (both at home and in the workplace) and the threats they may potentially and unknowingly generate.
This event has a long history of solid attendance - from 150 to 200 attendees - and pleased exhibitors. Exhibitors set up in the atrium, which is directly connected to the Auditorium where sessions are held. NRC executives, including the CIO, CISO and Information Security Director, have all attended each expo for the past 2 years. Attendees from the October 2018 event included:
- Developers
- Engineers
- IT Analysts and IT Specialists
- Network Engineers and Mobility Engineers
- Project Managers
- Security Analysts and Security Specialists
- System Administrators
