Department of Health and Human Services spending with NITAAC almost $21 Billion*

As the part of the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) family, NITAAC (a division of the National Institutes of Health) understands the needs of HHS better than anyone. In fact, no other federal acquisition program can say they have made Health IT a priority like NITAAC. All our Contract Holders are required to have a Health IT past performance. Moreover, our contract vehicles can support all information technology needs. NITAAC has been supporting HHS’ information technology needs to the tune of almost $21 billion.

As part of NIH, no one is better equipped to assist with HHS’ Office of the National Coordinator (ONC) for Health Information Technology’s health IT strategy than NITAAC

NITAAC Contract Holders remain poised to support HHS with their artificial intelligence, public health and health equity needs. This includes the cybersecurity initiatives outlined in the plan. From Zero Trust to ensuring the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) is protected (by allowing no breach in data), NITAAC Contract Holders are prepared to provide everything an agency needs to protect itself from threats. In addition, while artificial intelligence (AI) advances in the HHS community, our contract holders can not only provide guidance and technology – they are also working with agencies to protect the threat landscape.

HHS’ mission requires information technology to provide effective health and human services by fostering sound, sustained advances in the sciences underlying medicine, public health, and social services. NITAAC’s mission is to provide faster and easier IT contracting, powered by our network of contract holders, who provide game-changing technology solutions across the entire spectrum of next-generation technology.
