As the part of the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) family, NITAAC (a division of the National Institutes of Health) understands the needs of HHS better than anyone. NITAAC Contract Holders remain poised to support HHS with their artificial intelligence, public health and health equity needs. This includes the cybersecurity initiatives outlined in the plan. From Zero Trust to ensuring the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) is protected (by allowing no breach in data), NITAAC Contract Holders are prepared to provide everything an agency needs to protect itself from threats. In addition, while artificial intelligence (AI) advances in the HHS community, our contract holders can not only provide guidance and technology – they are also working with agencies to protect the threat landscape.

- CIO-SP3 and CIO-SP3 Small Business GWACs have been extended through 4/29/26. Any task orders issued can have up to a 5-year period of performance, taking clients well into FY31.
NITAAC will do whatever it takes to assure our customers always have a NITAAC vehicle that can handle their requirements. While we hope we can avoid another extension, we are prepared to get one if circumstances dictate. Please check with us before making any comparable IT obligations.
