Here’s why dozens of federal agencies trust NITAAC to support their cyber missions.

Protecting the federal government’s information is a never-ending battle. In Fiscal Year (FY) 24, the President’s budget, to support cyber efforts included $12.9 Billion for civilian agencies (up 13%) and $13.5 Billion for the Department of Defense. To assist civilian agencies, NIST created a framework that obligates dollars to:

  • Identify
  • Protect
  • Detect
  • Respond
  • Recover
  • And more M-22-16 priorities

In addition, an Executive Office of the President Memorandum M-22-09 set out a federal Zero Trust Architecture (ZTA) strategy. It requires agencies to meet specific cybersecurity standards and objectives by the end of FY24 in order to reinforce the government's defenses against increasingly sophisticated and persistent threat campaigns.

As part of the National Institutes of Health, NITAAC takes cyber threats seriously. We realize the importance of protecting data against cyberattacks.

NITAAC already supports billions in cybersecurity obligations across the federal government.
