Medical Communications for Combat Casualty Care (MC4) Functional and Support Services

MC4 offers deployable medical units a wide range of integrated systems (software and hardware) that bridge the tactical and sustaining base information management and information technology healthcare systems. L3 provides life cycle IT service management, IT clinical support services, and software systems used by medics, doctors, and nurses in tactical environments worldwide to assist with patient treatment and documentation of patient encounters. L3 created, organized, staffed, and built two labs to support MC4 testing and integration requirements. We maintain the hardware and software configurations to perform testing and integration, and we maintain control of test scenarios, ensuring the security of healthcare and biomedical research systems complies with NIST SP 800-114. L3 is an active participant on the panel that is charged with developing security standards for health IT services; we provide a senior solution architect in a leadership position on the panel.
