Air Force Intro
Air Force 2nd Section

NITAAC can provide the Air Force with the information technology necessary to dominate time, space and complexity in future conflicts across all operating domains.

While the Air Force works on air superiority; global strike; rapid global mobility; intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance; and command and control; NITAAC works on faster, easier, value-oriented innovations that enable you to command your information technology (IT) acquisitions. With speeds of up to 6x faster than comparable vehicles, NITAAC has been serving the Department of Defense and, more specifically, the Air Force’s information technology needs. From 2013 to present-day, you’ll find NITAAC has worked with 15 branches of the Air Force and has successfully fulfilled 64 Task/Delivery Orders. As your acquisitions portfolio continues to grow and change, one thing does not: NITAAC Government-Wide Acquisition Contract (GWAC) vehicles. Whether you need mission analytics, cybersecurity, global command and control, or augmented intelligence, ruggedized equipment, and cloud solutions, our Contract Holders can meet your requirements. A closer look at our history reveals that NITAAC:

  • Already supports over $447 million* in Air Force obligations.
  • Features many Contract Holders who have cleared personnel, ready to support the federal government in a variety of positions that require access to sensitive information.
  • Has once again extended CIO-SP3 and CIO-SP3 Small Business GWACs to 4/29/25. Any task orders issued can have up to a 5-year period of performance, taking clients well into FY30.
  • Will assure our customers always have a NITAAC contracting vehicle that accommodates their needs while CIO-SP4 is awarded and onboarded.

Please check with NITAAC before making any comparable IT obligations on other contracts. We guarantee that NITAAC will not allow a break in service as we award CIO-SP4, even if that means extending the GWACs further. Our hope, of course, is that another extension will not be necessary.

How NITAAC has helped the Air Force maintain readiness.

NITAAC acts as a supplement to the Air Force’s BPAs and supports the Defense Department’s small business mandate by providing over 300 contract holders in five socioeconomic categories (shown below), that are shared between CIO-SP3 Small Business and CIO-CS.

When you look through the Air Force’s Task and Delivery Orders listed here, you’ll see that NITAAC has supported you on a wide variety of IT requirements. In addition to the awards the Air Force has made, the Defense Department has obligated over $8.7 Billion on our vehicles. You’ll also see that our Contract Holders have the ability to work on CONUS and OCONUS projects. That’s why NITAAC GWACs are the ones to call for:

  • Meeting all of your information technology needs in one place
  • Using Government-Wide Acquisition Contracts (GWACs): CIO-SP3 and CIO-SP3 Small Business for IT Services/Solutions and CIO-CS for IT Commodities/Solutions
  • Purchasing commonly used commodities with Government-Wide Strategic Solutions (GSS), a subset of CIO-CS that meets all category management tiers and goals
  • Getting help from Assisted Acquisitions with the lowest fee (2% of total obligation)
  • Awarding Task Orders in an average of 45 days or less; and Delivery Orders in only 10 days
  • Getting free Technical Assessments on every task order, turned around in only 2 business days
  • Using NITAAC’s Electronic Government Ordering System (e-GOS) to meet Fair Opportunity Requirements, order more easily and get 3-5 responses on most orders
  • Using downs-selects and other creative contracting methods under FAR Subpart 16.505 to streamline competition, save money and make ordering much faster
