Department of Treasury
As Treasury works on five mission goals, NITAAC is laser-focused on one: detecting, disrupting and deterring abuse of economic intelligence.
Billions of US dollars are lost every year to bad actors who deliberately target our Nation’s economic intelligence. Trying to remain at least one step ahead should be a key performance indicator, no matter what the strategic objective, as nothing is more important than keeping America’s sensitive data and IT systems secure.
The President’s FY24 budget included over $12 Billion for civilian cybersecurity-related activities with $1 billion dedicated to Treasury. As the pursuit of cyber initiatives continues to grow, NITAAC contract holders are ready to assist federal agencies with everything from vulnerability testing to faster implementation to continuous diagnostics and monitoring. In addition, as Treasury looks to modernize using cloud, Artificial Intelligence and other proven solutions, NITAAC Contract Holders stand ready to meet their requirements. A closer look at our history with Treasury reveals that NITAAC:
- Already supports over $1.2 Billion* in Treasury obligations
- Assisted Acquisitions Services orders are administered and awarded by Contracting Officers and specialists who were among the first to receive the new, mandatory, FAC-C Digital Services (DS) Certifications, which are now required on orders for the management of digital services over the FAR Subpart 13.500(c) commercial items threshold
- Features many Contract Holders who already have cleared personnel, ready to support the federal government in a variety of positions that require access to sensitive information
- CIO-SP3 and CIO-SP3 Small Business GWACs have been extended through 4/29/25. Any task orders issued can have up to a 5-year period of performance, taking clients well into FY30
- Will assure our customers always have a NITAAC contracting vehicle that accommodates their needs while CIO-SP4 is awarded and onboarded.
NITAAC will do whatever it takes to assure our customers always have a NITAAC vehicle that can handle their requirements. While we hope we can avoid another extension, we are prepared to get one if circumstances dictate. Please check with us before making any comparable IT obligations.
How NITAAC has helped the Treasury maintain readiness.
When you look through Treasury’s Task and Delivery Orders, you’ll see that NITAAC has supported your agencies with a wide array of IT requirements. Currently, we support five out of your nine agencies. Ask your colleagues, and you’ll find NITAAC is the one to call for:
- Meeting your all of your information technology needs in one place with NITAAC GWACs: CIO-SP3; CIO-SP3 Small Business; for IT Services/Solutions and CIO-CS for IT Commodities/Solutions
- Purchasing commonly used commodities with Government-Wide Strategic Solutions (GSS), a subset of CIO-CS that meets all category management tiers and goals
- Getting help from Assisted Acquisitions with the lowest fee (2% of total obligation)
- Awarding Task Orders on average in 45 days or less; Delivery Orders on average in 10 days (depending on complexity)
- Getting free Technical Assessments; on every task order, turned around in only 2 business days
- Using NITAAC’s Electronic Government Ordering System (e-GOS) to meet Fair Opportunity requirements, order faster and more easily, and get 3-5 responses on most orders
- Using downselects and other creative contracting methods under FAR Subpart 16.505 to streamline competition, save money and make ordering much faster and easier
