Are Section 801 waivers required when using NITAAC GWACs for DoD?

For the DoD, direct orders placed by your agency never require a Section 801 certification or waiver. Orders placed by the NITAAC Assisted Acquisition Services CO for your agency require an 801 certification for DoD. If one was not issued for the calendar year of the order, a Section 801 waiver is required for AAS to place an order for DoD.
