Event overview: As small businesses enter the federal contracting arena, the first advice they typically receive is you must register in SAM and get on a GSA schedule. Small Business eager to support federal agencies in their mission, dutifully oblige. However, after a few months of marketing their services or products to different agencies they find out that not every agency procures services or products through a multiple award schedule. Some agencies prefer BIC's, other agencies have their own specific BPA or IDIQ's. So, now the small business is left with the dilemma of what vehicles to pursue and which of those vehicles will translate to revenue for their organization.
