  • If my order is under $3500 can I award it to any contract holder I choose
    Yes. When you create your RFQ in the e-GOS system, simply select "yes" to answer to the question: "Is your purchase less than the micropurchase threshold?" Then, select your contract holder of choice from the drop-down menu.

  • If initial award = Mod 00 does that mean each award thereafter will be another mod 00
    Mod-00 is for the initial award only. All other follow on awards will be done sequentially.

  • If I purchased a maintenance plan or a warranty elsewhere can I use the CIO-CS to purchase a new extended warranty or stand-alone maintenance plan
    Yes. Such plans and extended warranties are available under CIO-CS.

  • How often is the TRP template updated When it is updated will a notice go out to NITAAC Contract Holders
    The TRP template is updated on an as needed basis. If the template is updated by NITAAC, a notice will be sent out to all Contract Holders informing them of the change with the updated template attached to the notice.

  • How many files can I attach in the CIO-CS e-GOS system
    There is no limit on the number of files that can be attached; however, each file must be under 100MB and the email attachment size is 10MB. If your files individually exceed 100 MB, please contact the NITAAC Customer Support Center via email at NITAACsupport@nih.gov or call 1.888.773.6542 .

  • How long does the TRP process take to get approved
    In most instances, the TRP process takes 24 hours or less. However, if there are errors that need to be resolved, it could take longer.

  • How long does a saved order stay in the e-GOS system
    A saved order will remain in the system indefinitely. We do not delete orders from the e-GOS System, as it is intended to be a database of record for users and considered part of the official contract file.

  • Does marketing material need to be approved by NITAAC prior to distribution to customers
    Contractor Personnel - Key Personnel, in your contract. Contract holders shall use the NITAAC CIO-SP3 logo in advertising, placing these identifiers in printed and in on-line communications; displaying CIO-SP3 promotional placards; and disseminating NITAAC CIO-SP3 marketing materials.
