  • How long does the TRP process take to get approved?
    In most instances, the TRP process takes 24 hours or less. However, if there are errors that need to be resolved, it could take longer.

  • How long does a saved order stay in the e-GOS system?
    A saved order will remain in the system indefinitely. We do not delete orders from the e-GOS System, as it is intended to be a database of record for users and considered part of the official contract file.

  • Does marketing material need to be approved by NITAAC prior to distribution to customers?
    Contractor Personnel - Key Personnel in your contract. Contract holders shall use the NITAAC CIO-SP3 logo in advertising, placing these identifiers in printed and in on-line communications; displaying CIO-SP3 promotional placards; and disseminating NITAAC CIO-SP3 marketing materials.   • How do I remove a duplicate order?
    Please submit a request to the NITAAC Customer Support Center at NITAACsupport@nih.gov or call 1.888.773.6542 to resolve this issue.

  • Do I need an interagency agreement to use NITAAC contracts?
    No. An interagency agreement is not required by NITAAC for direct acquisitions. Interagency agreements are only required for assisted orders.

  • Do I need a special Delegation of Procurement Authority to use NITAAC?
    No. A special Delegation of Procurement Authority is not needed to use NITAAC GWACs.

  • Do I need a Limited Source Justification?
    No. Ordering procedures as outlined in FAR Part 6 and FAR Part 8 do not apply when using IDIQ contracts. When fulfilling requirements using a Government-Wide Acquisition Contract (GWAC), ordering procedures located at FAR 16.5(b)(1), Fair Opportunity, apply.

  • Do I have to register separately for the e-GOS and RFQ systems?
    Yes. You must register and activate a user name and password for each system.

  • Can I perform a reverse auction?
    Yes. Reverse auctions using the NITAAC GWACs are permitted through the use of any third-party provider working in concert with the federal government. However, you must also post the requirement in the appropriate NITAAC system, e-GOS or RFQ.
