FDA 2nd Section

As a sister agency, no one understands the FDA’s technology requirements better than NITAAC.

As part of the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) and the National Institutes of Health (NIH), NITAAC and its Contract Holders are poised to respond to the strategic objectives outlined by HHS. In fact, through Task Area 1, all NITAAC Contract Holders are required to have past performance in Health IT.

From 2013 to date, you’ll find NITAAC has fulfilled 247 Task/Delivery Orders throughout the FDA. As your acquisitions portfolio continues to grow and change, one thing does not: NITAAC Government-Wide Acquisition Contracts (GWACs). Whether you need Health IT, Cybersecurity, Data Analytics, Cloud Solutions, Modernized Technology or any other information technology goods and services, NITAAC can meet your requirements. A closer look at our history reveals that NITAAC:

  • Already supports almost $833.3 million in FDA obligations and almost $19 billion throughout HHS.
  • Has a full service Assisted Acquisitions program whose Contracting Officers and specialists were among the first to receive the new, mandatory, FAC-C Digital Services (DS) Certifications, which are now required on orders for the management of digital services over the FAR Subpart 13.500(c) commercial items threshold.
  • Features many Contract Holders who have cleared personnel, ready to support the federal government in a variety of positions that require access to sensitive information.
  • CIO-SP3 and CIO-SP3 Small Business GWACs have been extended through 4/29/25. Any task orders issued can have up to a 5-year period of performance, taking clients well into FY30.
  • Will assure our customers always have a NITAAC contracting vehicle that accommodates their needs while CIO-SP4 is awarded and onboarded.

NITAAC will do whatever it takes to assure our customers always have a NITAAC vehicle that can handle their requirements. While we hope we can avoid another extension, we are prepared to get one if circumstances dictate. Please check with us before making any comparable IT obligations.
