Frequently Asked Questions
Is there a minimal amount of time customers are required to post a Request for Quotation (RFQ)?
The amount of time given to respond to a Request for Quotation (RFQ) is determined by the Ordering Contracting Officer (OCO). For orders exceeding the simplified acquisition threshold, the OCO is only required to give offerors a reasonable amount of time to respond to the RFQ.
What is e-GOS?
e-GOS is the electronic-Government Ordering System. It provides a mechanism to meet the GWAC fair opportunity requirements of FAR Part 16. You must use the system to compete and award orders under the CIO-SP3, CIO-SP3 Small Business and CIO-CS contracts.
Do I need a justification if I only get one quote?
No. You only need to provide all eligible contract holders fair opportunity to respond to the RFQ, which is accomplished by using NITAAC’s e-GOS System.
